Time: 7:30pm
Place: NC Museum of Natural Sciences
11 West Jones St.
(Downtown) Raleigh, NC
Meeting details:
- Everyone is Welcome
- The main doors are on Bicentennial Plaza facing the NC Museum of History, close to Jones Street, across from the Legislature Building.
- One of the doors to the museum will be unlocked, or someone from the museum staff will be there to let you in.
- You may be directed to a different conference room upstairs while the museum has work being done.
- Take the elevator to your left and go down one floor to “A” (the “ant” level).
- Exit the elevator on A, go left, and the meeting room will be the door to your right, Conference Room A.
- If you arrive later and find you are locked out of the museum, look for our sign posted near the entrance (or museum staff at the desk). Call the number on the sign and we will let you in. If the sign is posted, we are still present.
- To join us remotely on Zoom, sign up for our mailing list prior to the meeting, and you’ll get an invite, or email us, and we’ll try to get you connected. You will need to have installed Zoom.
The general meeting format is as follows:
- Introductions
- A review of organizational matters
- Reports on recent cave trips
- Discussion about upcoming trips
- A short break
- A main presentation or program of some kind
- For those interested we usually continue socializing at a local eatery after the meeting is adjourned
