Directions to the NC Museum of Natural Sciences in Bicentennial Plaza
(the block north of the state capitol building on Hillsborough Street)

From the south:

Exit I-40 at South Saunders Street (Exit 298 heading northbound into Raleigh).
When the road forks, bear right onto McDowell/Dawson Streets.
Turn right onto Jones Street (block after Edenton Street).
In the second block, you'll see the museums (musea?) on the right
and the legislative building on the left. In the museum block on the
right you see the ends of two long buildings. The one to your right
(west) is the Science museum.
Park near all the cars with yellow bat stickers on the back.
Enter the first set of doors to the Science museum (at least one will be unlocked). These doors are near Jones Street but facing the other building.
Get on the elevator to your left and go down one floor to level "A" (the "ant" floor).
The meeting room will be to your left across the hall.

From the west:

Exit I-40 at Wade Avenue Extension (Exit 289).
After you cross under Glenwood Avenue on Wade Avenue, get in the right lane.
Wade Avenue will dump you onto Capitol Boulevard south.
Turn left at the second traffic light onto Jones Street.
In the second block, you'll see the museums (musea?) on the right
and the legislative building on the left. In the museum block on the

Drive south on Capitol Boulevard.
Capitol Boulevard will change into Dawson Street at Lane Street.
Turn left at the next traffic light onto Jones Street.
